OUR LITTLE FACTORY

It's what's on the inside that counts

During the weekday, you can find us working hard at crafting new flavors (watch the video for a little behind the scenes). During the weekend, we set up around town or at local festivals and events. We love serving our community and can't wait to meet you!

Call to pick up a few tubs for your next party, send me a message and we can have it ready for you.  What makes us different from our local competitors, is that we can make any flavor that you love and have you coming back for more.  You can take home a Pint, Gallon or more, all you have to do is serve or add your favorite cocktail mix to our Italian ice and everyone will be impressed.

Look for us local around town.

Our Story

Hi there! My name is Ida, I am 100% Italian and owner/founder of Dat's a Nice Italian Ice & Nan's Specialty Lemonade.

I hand craft all my drinks & desserts from scratch from real recipes handed down from generations.  A little about me, I was born and raised on Long Island, New York where water ice is an iconic summer dessert and Lemonade is delicious.  Italian ice and Lemonade to me is a feeling of home and happiness and excited to fresh tastes of Italy to North Texas.

We love bringing communities these tasty treats. We can't wait to get to know you better and serve you!

See you round town!

SO YOU ASK YOURSELF, WHATS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A SNOW CONE &

ITALIAN ICE?

Italian Ice and snow cones are both sweetened frozen treats. However, they differ in how they are made! Italian ice (and water ice, for that matter) are made in a process similar to ice cream.

The ingredients are mixed together and then frozen. When you make shaved ice, the ice is frozen in cubes or blocks, shaved into very fine pieces, and then flavored with syrups and other toppings. Snow cones are also flavored after the ice is crushed.

Which is better - Italian ice or shaved ice? For us, nothing beats the smooth texture of Italian Ice.
